The Chiron centre is run and owned by its two founding directors, Andrew Kemp and Claire Kedward. We both have broad experience in project and operations management through our former careers in the financial services and telecom industries.

Although we are now full time therapists, we both share the same passion to improve the image and profile of complementary healthcare. The opportunity to open the Chiron centre in a striking and prominent building in Westbury-on-Trym allowed us to create the perfect environment to put our vision into practice. Our aim is to create a true centre of excellence across a broad range of complementary healthcare therapies, raising the bar for standards of comfort, relaxation and professionalism.

We are both kinesiologists by training and the number of clients seen at the centre makes it one of the busiest, if not the busiest, kinesiology centres in England. This allows us to research and develop new concepts, taking our therapy to new heights. The ‘Quantum K’ self-help system you can read about on this website is unique and truly groundbreaking in that it can be used effectively by therapists and layman alike.

Please do browse through the various headings on this website. You can learn about the therapies we have on offer and the therapists who practice them. If you have a particular requirement or are unsure who would be best placed to help you, please give us a call or send us an e-mail. Our highly trained reception staff will be happy to help you decide the best way forward.

Why the Chiron Centre?
The inspiration for the name of the Chiron Centre comes from Greek mythology. Chiron was a centaur - half man half horse - who rejected the rowdy lifestyle of his compatriots to pursue a lifetime of teaching and healing. His students are reputed to include Achilles, Jason and Asklepios, the herbalist and surgeon who is reputed to be the founder of modern medicine and whose serpent-entwined staff is the familiar emblem of the medical profession.
